About Walker

Walker McKnight is an award-winning screenwriter and competitive napper. He lives in Atlanta with two eccentric cats and a powerful addiction to all things film. After a mini-career in international relations, Walker surrendered to his passions and dove into screenwriting; his sci-fi script Street Rat Allie Punches Her Ticket won him a Nicholl Fellowship. Screenwriting proved a gateway drug into novels and short stories, and Walker continues to write all three in the fantasy, sci-fi, thriller, and horror space.

Walker is a 2019 Academy Nicholl Fellow in Screenwriting. He holds an M.A. in Film and Screenwriting and completed the UCLA Professional Program in Screenwriting. He consults on screenplay development and has a particular love for story structure and character arc. Reach out if you need help with a script or story project!
